Bridge Over the Seine

It has been cold, windy and raining like anything so that all my paintings have rain spots on them. Finally, I decided to paint en plein photo...in other words, in the comfort of my garage! Voila! Sun, puffy clouds, Paris...ahhh

Can Can

Painted at Earthbound Farms in Carmel Valley. Lots of things to paint there but this can caught my eye. Great lighting and all the cool stuff in the background! yay!

Lightfighter Road

Wonderful clouds today and a though there was still a bit of haze in the air, you could see the mountains off in the distance. In the foreground, Route 1, the bike path, and the old train tracks that used to carry people from San Francisco to a fancy hotel in Monterey.

Trio

More flowers from Malibu. Now I see why everyone loves southern California! Today the sun was shining brightly as I was painting at Point Lobos but it was windy and cold. This makes me think of summer!

More cool 6x6 paintings! This old anchovy can has been crying out to be painted for ages. You can tell it's been a while because I don't think they make them with keys anymore!
